Otay Lakes Tour
- Start at the parking lot at the west end of E Street. You may want
to take a side trip to the nearby Chula Vista Nature Interpretive
Center. You'll have to park your bike and take the bus, since bicycles are
not allowed on the road to the Center.
- South on Bay Blvd.
- Left on L St.
- Right on Broadway.
- Left on Moss St., which becomes Naples St. just beyond the
San Diego Country Club.
- Past Sunbow Park and left on Medical Center Dr.
- Right on Telegraph Canyon Rd.
- Telegraph Canyon Rd. ends at the intersection of Otay Lakes Rd. Continue
straight ahead on Otay Lakes Rd. Look for signs to the ARCO Olympic
Training Center.
- Right on Wueste Rd. Go past the ARCO Olympic Training
Center.
- Lower Otay Park, at the end of Wueste Rd., is a good place to stop,
regroup and rest.
- Return to Otay Lakes Rd. by the same route.
- Right on Otay Lakes Rd. Follow it to Thousand Trails
Campground for another rest stop. The campground store is open to the
public.
- Turn around and follow Otay Lakes Rd. back west.
- Right on Eastlake Pkwy.
- Right on East Shore Dr.
- Right on Eastlake Pkwy.
- Left on East H St.
- Left on Paseo del Rey.
- Right on J St.
- Right on Bay Blvd.
- Return to starting point.
